Why are your prices higher than my local brick-and-mortar groomer?
We bring the salon to you and focus solely on your pet. A traditional shop uses an assembly line approach, with several pets on site in various stages of the grooming process. With mobile grooming, your pet has one on one service with no distractions. He or she is hand washed and dried (no cages or cage drying), and groomed straight through from start to finish. This makes grooming a much shorter and more personalized experience than it would be in a shop.
Do I have to meet you somewhere or will you come to my house?
We come to your house or office.
Do you have to use my water?
No. We carry our own heated water.
Do you reuse water?
Absolutely not. Each pet is washed in fresh, clean water.
What happens to the dirty water?
We have a holding tank and take it with us.
Do I need to provide electricity?
No, our vehicle is self-powered.
Will you groom my pet if I'm not home?
Certainly! That's what makes our service perfect for busy people. We can arrange in advance for you to leave a key, provide us with a garage code, or have a family member or neighbor give us your pet.
Do you still groom on hot summer and cold winter days?
The van is climate controlled. We have air conditioning and heat for your pet's comfort.
Do you groom other people's pets at the same time?
No, your dog or cat is the only pet in the van.
Do you groom cats?
Yes. We do everything from baths to full lion clips.
What forms of payment to you take?
Cash, check, MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Discover
Do you offer discounts for more than one pet?
Sorry, but we do not offer a multiple-pet discount since each pet requires individualized time and care.
Can I see the inside of the van?
Of course! We encourage you to take a tour of the mobile salon.
Can I stay with my pet while he/she is being groomed?
Most pets are easily distracted by their owner's presence, so it is generally best if you are not in the van.
Do I bring my pet to the van or will you come to door?
We do what works best for you and your pet. We can call to let you know when we arrive so you can bring your pet out to us, or we can come to your door and walk your pet to the van.
What breeds do you groom?
We groom most breeds of dogs and cats. If a dog is particularly large and/or grooming requires two people, we may refer you to a local grooming shop.
